About me

My passion is being a psychotherapist and counsellor, dedicated to helping those seeking resolution and contentment in their lives. Life doesn’t come with a map or directions, and this lack of guidance can  often leave us feeling lost and unsure. This uncertainty can make every day feel like a struggle. For many, therapy can provide relief from these difficulties, offering a much-needed break to view things from a different perspective. Through our work together, we can cultivate resilience and empowerment within you to overcome the challenges that life may bring.

Qualifications and Experience

I am a fully qualified and experienced psychotherapist and counsellor, holding full
membership with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
(00948050). In addition to my clinical work, I am an academic, researcher, and
consultant specialising in safe, ethical, and good practice in psychotherapy.

My story…

During my studies, I aspired to create a counselling service that instils hope in those feeling lost. Inspired by my own trials and tribulations, I embrace the concept of moving “forward” in life, avoiding an unhappy and stagnant state.

You will see that my logo is a boomerang. Using the boomerang metaphor, I resonate with the idea of embarking on a journey. Initially, I faced significant resistance and struggled to find my path. Over time, I reached a turning point, experiencing a peak in my journey that led me back toward a happier version of myself. This return felt steady and controlled, with a much smoother journey than when I started.

Like learning to throw a boomerang, it took time, patience, and practice to hone the necessary skills. In counselling, I aim to guide clients through their own journeys, helping them return with a new outlook and a renewed sense of hope and purpose.
